Well after 2 days of spotting and feeling like I was coming down with a cold, I got hit with a nasty sinus infection and AF all in the same day.
Even as crappy as I felt yesterday afternoon I held my pee for 4 hours so I could take a pregnancy test which was negative. I was disappointed but in a fog pretty much due to my fever of 103. I still feel really crappy today and slept most of the day but my fever broke this morning and my temp is back down to like 98.7 which is high for me still but better than it was.
I will be starting Clomid tonight for the first time! I am nervous because since we have crappy insurance they won't pay for any monitoring. So I have to rely on temping and OPK's to tell me if I O or not. I am starting with 50 MG of Clomid cycle days 1-5. I read a promising study on women who have taken it days 1-5 and decided that even though the "norm" is 5-9 or 3-7 I wanted to try something different.
Fingers crossed things go well for us! I've got to run Savannah's bus will be here any minute. I'll update with how it's going on the Clomid sometime this week.

Ok I really wish my period would just come already! My breasts are so sore and now I am having some painful cramping on and off. I will be finished taking the Prometrium tomorrow and still haven't started my period. I seriously am wondering if the Prometrium has stopped working for me.
I don't understand why the very first time I was on it I got my period on day 11 and the next cycle on day 9 but now here I am on day 13 and NADA.
I don't mean to complain, really I don't. If I were pregnant none of the cramping or sore boobs business would matter to me, it's all worth it for a baby! It's going through all of this and not even being pregnant that sucks so bad!
My temps are still up but I had the tiniest bit of spotting this afternoon when I went pee. I had just checked my cervical position an hour before though so I'm not sure if this was the cause of the spotting or not. I have been checking for any further spotting every 30 min or so like a mad woman now lol.
I've decided to just call the doctor in the morning and let them know what is going on. I can get a beta blood test done when I go in if my period hasn't started yet. If I am not pregnant (which I don't think I am) then I am really curious to know why my boobs have been so sore for so long. I also want to know if the Prometrium has started working.
Also I want to mention that I really want to be checked for Endometriosis, I have cramping and twinging all cycle long and really think it's a possibility. Plus I am hopeful I can get my ObGyn to allow me to have those montly P4 tests to check to see if I have ovulated once I start the Clomid. I figure since she mentioned following up in 3 months last time I saw her and it has been 3 months then it's time for a visit.
I am tired of being put off for 3 months here or 5 months there by different doctors. If she won't help me I am going to find someone who will. I'm serious about having a baby and I want a doctor who is serious about helping me have one.
