Well AF (AKA Aunt Flow/my period) should be here any day now. I started taking Prometrium to bring on a new cycle 9 days ago. Last cycle she arrived on the morning of the 9th day which would be today but she's not here yet. I'm actually hoping she does arrive soon. My boobs have been killing me!!! I kid you not they have been so sore for the past 12 days straight. I am taking this as a VERY good sign that I ovulated this cycle.
See 6 years ago when my cycles were a little more regular and I was ovulating on my own thats how I always knew my period was going to start, sore boobs. On annovulatory cycles my boobs don't hurt at all. I don't think I have had an ovulatory cycle since Savannah was born so this is probably my first. This time is different though. They have hurt every day since my chart says I O'ed. The only other time this happened to me is when I found out I was pregnant with Savannah.
I am not trying to get my hopes up at all though. I just keep expecting AF anytime now and if she doesn't show by the 19th then I will begin to get a tiny bit excited lol. However I have been late a million times before so I don't think I can get totally excited until I see a BFP (big fat positive) on a HPT (home preg test). Don't you just love all the TTC (trying to conceive) lingo? LOL
Anyway I am just trusting my own body and temps this time to tell me if I O'ed or not. I didn't use my fertility monitor or any ovulation predictors this cycle at all. I just took my temp every morning (I think I skipped one or 2 mornings lol) and I checked my cervical position and all that jazz each day.
Ok well I have to go hop in the shower so I can leave soon. I have some shopping to do today. Bad part is I just want to climb back in bed lol. I have been so tired lately. I think I need to start exercising and eating better again, I need some energy!!
